Ride was the single focus of Jonathon Barlow when he set out to design the Offshore NZ range. In the boating world we all know plate boats are known for a rough, bouncy ride usually not living up to their Fiberglass counterparts. This was the challenge embraced when the Offshore NZ team embarked on the design process of a high performance, balance plate boat.

Designed, developed and manufactured in New Zealand by Northland Marine Co the Offshore range of plate boats are built with no compromises or limitations. The unique 8mm plate hull alloy hull and overall hull design delivers a plate boat ride like no other – you could be forgiven for thinking you were on a glass boat the ride is so smooth.

Phillip Island Marine

Phillip Island Marine is owned and operated by Scott Huther. Scott has been in the Australian boating industry for over 35 years. Born in Phillip Island, Victoria Scott has lived and played on the sea’s of the Westerport Bay all of his life. He started is marine career as a Marine Mechanic, eventually buying Phillip Island Marine. Scott is recognised as an expert in the marine industry in the Gippsland region.
